madness!!
These few days at Marina Square has been madness!
Yesterday was the opening of the Johnlittle. Me, Helen, Jenny and Jerlin were all there.Me, in charge of KOSE while Jerlin in charge of Fasio. Glad that i didnt have to wear those pants. Haha. The opening was exclusive to VIP members of John Little so i dont know how Faezah got in. Hahah, but anyway! Glad to see Faezah. I think the environment is so different from Guardian man............. really miss working at Guardian :S
The whole 3 hours there passed by like in a blink of an eye! So many customers to serve! Helen helped out at both the Fasio and Kose counter. Okay i repeated one particular sentence at least 100 times. "we are havin a promotion right now. For any purchase you get a free Junkisui Wash and for the lotion mask its buy one get one free!" Wierd though, because the lotion mask didnt sell that well.
There was also wine provided. I had one cup. And Helen requested me to stop cuz my face was as red as the sun. hahah Jerlin drank 7 cups on her own. Siao. Later on, she puked at the Fasio counter and was sent home at 9pm.
Finally, 1030pm reached and we counted our sales. A whopping $1700 for KOSE! and $200 for Fasio. The customers damn nice k. Helen and I decided to share a cab. Reached home at 1230am.
Okay. Today i was supposed to work from 11am to 10.30pm but i requested to leave earlier cuz really damn tired leh! You can tell that im tired when i started saying the more ridiculously wrong things such as pointing to an eye cream and saying thats for removing black heads. HAha.
Got one irritating uncle also.Helen asked me to go and buy some snacks to eat so i bought and i stood outside John Little to eat cuz i scared That Helen needs my help since shes unfamiliar with KOSE products. I was chewing happily when one man asked me "Ah girl, are you on duty?" I was shocked but he was smiling so i just said yeah sorry. Then he asked me when am i eating ioutside and so i answered him. then his expression changed into a frown and scolded me "you are spoiling John Little's image you know. So irrresponsible. " Then i said sorry and started walking off. I faintly heard him saying "Do you want me...................... manager...... uh....." haha okay scary. Then i went back and told Helen about it. Then we realised that he isnt even a staff there. *faints.

dillema
About the school issue, it just keeps coming! Fedex delievered Uni of Toronto's letter to me and guess what! They accepted me! First choice somemore! Stupid, they Had to deliever it to me like 4 days after i paid my deposit to ANU. Uni of Toronto is THE dream school for me right from the beginning and also an impossible dream when i got my A level results. My application to Uni is just so full of obstacles! *faints.
Been out shopping with Jacklyn at Fareast last Thursday! Its been a while since i last shopped at there. I bought 2 t-shirts and a long-sleeve shirt. Hohoho im satisfied! Need to get more shoes though.. After that we got bored and headed down to Cine. On the way there, we made endless complaints about the sun and the hot weather. Guess we're just so vain and bimbo-tic. HA.
After that, i met up with Guan at Plaza Sing. Saw Maggie and Wanli there. Our movie was at 9.50pm so we took our time to shop around and stuff. Then had Fluffy at McCafe while waiting for the movie to start and also Guan's two lil brothers. Oh we were almost late for the movie despite having like plenty of time! Haha, we walked at lightning speed over to THE GRAND CATHAY. I love the theatre! SO BIG. Like a concert hall.
The movie was fantastic though me and guan havent watched Pirates 1 and 2 before.Loves it!
Cant wait to meet Guan today for the M)phorsis sale!!!!! I am gonna be broke :(

ANU preparation!
Most of you might not know this, but me and my family were struggling between choosing ANU or NTU for the past few days. NTU is too precious to miss out. It has only 50 spots and comes with honours and is a course requested by the government and has a semester abroad at Norway!(however exotic that place is), as me Guan and Ailin learnt last Saturday.(during our 3 hours lunch break)
BUTTTTTTTTTT, alas! we decided on ANU.
Okay, preparing for ANU is like preparing for a long vacation! Need to get some nice comfy winter clothes, need to change my POSB card, need to go for medical checkup for VISA, need to buy some books just in case it gets boring. And, choosing the hostel is like choosing a hotel. The food has to be nice most importantly. But thankfully, i've got Yvonne! My guide to Canberra, the most boring city in Australia. Ahaha.
And, i am posted to Marina Square John Little from next tuesday onwards! Boohoo! Far. its kinda pointless for me to try to adapt to yet another new environment since i am quitting soon.But neverthelesss, its good news cuz i realise that its especially hard to pass time at IMM Guardian now that zhiwei, Hanshi are gone, especially on weekdays. Weekends are pleasant though because of Guan and Faezah's presence!
So anyway, good luck to everyone who is still undecided on which school to go to.

My birthday!
LOTS of things happened! HEE. Loads of fun and love!
It all started on Sunday, 13th May, one day before my birthday, and also, Mother's day.
My lovely Guan Yi asked me if i could accompany her to IMM to check out presents for her mommy so of course i agreed. I seriously didnt smell anything fishy even when Guan told me that she didnt work today because the Kose counter at IMM was burnt down. HAhaha! I believed! How gullible i am! Very suay though, because the drizzling turned into heavy rain within split seconds as we were walking towards the bus-stop. But nevertheless, we managed to get to IMM in shape all thanks to lovely zhiwei and Faezah who brought umbrellas and fetched us from the busstop. Awww.
I shall skip the details of how Guan continued to let me live in denial of the fact that we werent there simply to look at presents. At last , when we headed down to Guardian, all came to light!
I saw faezah and zhiwei smiling happily and there! An ADORABLE and SWEET Turtle! AWWWW totally loves it!
Its huge! My arms were totally in pain when i reached home from carrying it. Anyway, it all turned out, that this was a present from my Missys and zhiwei and farah and faezah! So nice! Loves them! muack!
Some sad attempts at trying to take a picture with the four of us in it. Anyway, ultra rare too. Look who is the extra woman behind us! Josephine shark woman! and it seems like shes looking our way.
I am touched and happy!
Next, Monday, on which i turned 19!! BOOHOOHOO. Sadness! I dont wanna be old! I dont wanna grow old!
Guan and Fei came to suntec to look for me to celebrate my bbirthday with me after their school. The only bad thing that day was this pair of heels that i just bought. Makes my feet feel like its being squashed from all corners.
We headed down to Marina Square's Secret Recipe first. The meal was fantastic! I dont think i ate anything quite like it before. All three of us ordered this chicken ham and cheese and its shaped like a potato. hahaha, hard to describe. Its delicious! Gy and Fei ordered a fudge cake for me as a surprise. Surprise indeed! For Gy! Hahaha. Its yummy-licious. Haha loves it!
Afterwards, we lingered around for a while more and went to ESKIBAR. Excitement! Whoo!
I like ESKI Bar. Very nice environment and very CLEAN most importantly. And cold of course.
Then, we went to this chinese pub whose service, if i were to rate, would be a big fat Zero. Our songs keep getting delayed even though we were like the first to order. And gy and fei witnessed them tasting drinks from jug that were meant for us. EW. And not to forgot, the guy who ahem, sang his heart out. LOL.
Haha okay, gy you have more photos right? I have very little leh.
And thanks to all those who gave me a pressie. They are appreciated! <3

NUS and Uni of syd
I got accepted by two more schools! NUS and University of Sydney! Woohoo!
But both didnt offer me my first choice. NUS accepted me into their Faculty of Arts and Social Science, and Uni of Syd offered me a Bachelor of Economics Degree. Haha, so both are out of my consideration since i am going for a degree in commerce.
I had such a bad day yesterday. I WAS ONE HOUR LATE FOR MY KOSE OFFICE TRAINING. Haha its a sad case for me. I went down to get a cab at like 8.40 but then i realised i forgot to bring out my handphone! So i rushed back and decided to wait for a cab at westmall instead since there is a taxi stand. HA! BAD CHOICE. The queue was short but taxis were coming in at a rate of 1 per 10mins. SO i called for a cab and they put me on hold for 10++ mins. ARGH. when i finally got through to the operator, i was gladly relieved. But no, my misery doesnt end there. The taxi took like 15 mins to come! GRR, it was already 9.40am by then and training was to begin at 9.30. Plus, there was also traffic jams everywhere and so, when i reached KOSE office, it was 10.20am already.
The only good thing was that the trainer is Ivy and not Kelly. Haha. Okay as expected, i will always get criticised for something. This time, its me not buttoning up my uniform(looks like some waitress if i do) and not putting on my badge(which i always bring along for training), and of course, for my lateness. But hack, i am only a part timer, not gonna be tied down by all these rules.
Training was hopelessly boring. learning about skin structure etc. AHHh totally dreads tomorrow.
Back tracking a little, i went to watch 200 pounds beauty with my darlings Guan and Sabbie after a tedious day of work!The movie was very nice and funny! Guan is hopelessly attracted to the male lead in the movie. hahaha! Afterwards , we went for our "photograph section" at handicapped toilet.
